Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and understand how visitors use the site. SiteGrade uses a minimal set of cookies — only what is needed for analytics and core functionality.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
SiteGrade does not currently set any strictly essential cookies (e.g., session authentication). If you use the Service without unlocking a report, no cookies are set by our application code. Google Analytics cookies are the only persistent cookies currently in use.
Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use SiteGrade — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and how audits are completed. This helps us improve the Service. Analytics data is anonymized and does not identify you personally. IP addresses are anonymized before being stored by Google.
How to Control Cookies
You can control or delete cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings — All modern browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. See your browser's help documentation for instructions.
- Google Analytics opt-out — Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data.
- Do Not Track — We respect browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals where technically feasible.
Blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use SiteGrade — all core features remain fully functional without cookies.
Third-Party Cookies
SiteGrade does not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or retargeting cookies. The only third-party cookies are from Google Analytics, as described above. We do not use any embedded social media widgets that set cookies.
Changes to This Policy
If we add new cookies or change how we use existing ones, we will update this Cookie Policy with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated via the Service.
