SiteGrade is operated by NuStack Digital Ventures LLC ("NuStack", "we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

• Email address — collected when you unlock your full report
• Name — optional, collected when you unlock your report
• Website URL — the URL you submit for auditing

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — pages visited, time spent, audit completions (via Google Analytics)
• IP address — used for rate limiting, not stored permanently
• Browser/device data — browser type, operating system (via analytics)

3. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver your audit report by email
• To send occasional website optimization tips and NuStack service updates (you may unsubscribe at any time)
• To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
• To improve the SiteGrade scoring algorithm and report quality
• To understand aggregate usage patterns (via anonymized analytics)

4. Website Crawling

When you submit a URL, our system fetches publicly accessible pages from that website to generate your audit. We do not store the raw HTML of crawled pages. We extract and store only the signals needed to produce your report (e.g., title tag presence, word count, heading structure). Crawl data used for caching is retained for a maximum of 6 hours.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Resend — email delivery service for sending your audit report
• Supabase — database infrastructure for storing audit results
• Vercel — hosting infrastructure
• Google Analytics — anonymized usage analytics

All service providers are bound by data processing agreements consistent with applicable privacy law.

6. Data Retention

• Audit results (scores, issues, report data) — retained for 90 days
• Email addresses — retained until you request deletion
• Anonymous analytics data — per Google Analytics retention settings (14 months)

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of marketing communications (unsubscribe link in every email)
• Object to certain types of processing

9. Children's Privacy

SiteGrade is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in encrypted databases. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will note material changes with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of SiteGrade after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
